This is my 3rd time at El Indio restaurant at the Duluth location. The food is always good. I was craving street tacos with rice & beans. I have to say their street tacos are only $2.50, it's good, and you get enough. I'm so glad to know this place isn't overpriced. Also, they have the best Quesabirria I've had so far! The outside is perfectly crispy, not sogging. The meat is tender and seasoned well. And it's priced well, too. My brother loves this restaurant and introduced me to them. So, it's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I want to try something else on their menu. Any recommendations? I'll be back to try more items. Thank you
Food is always amazing staff is super nice and it’s always super clean I love coming here you need to try everything here but their pastor is so great! Love it here will never stop coming back!
Nice place to get authentic Mexican food. Cleanliness is up there. The cashiers are friendly and helpful to get your orders. Seasoning is great, not too much of anything, hits just right. Plenty of sauces and pickled onions.
Real authentic Mexican food. Best tacos in the area! Be sure to visit the salsa bar for pickled carrots and radishes. The Verde salsa is my fav. Edited for my favorite lunch: Steak tacos, onions and cilantro, squeeze lime, add Verde. Have a radish or carrot in between. Mexican coke. Try to have a bad time. You can't.
Best Birria Tacos I've had. Read reviews before going and the only bad reviews said "they didn't have chips and charged tip". So I decided to go since I know authentic Mexican restaurants do not typically serve them and you can always select no tip. The tip option is put on the machine before the restaurant /store buys it. The food was AMAZING, I have no complaints. If you haven't tried it, you should!!!
Get their Birria tacos. I haven't tried anything else, but these taco with that sauce are so bomb. Don't forget to grab some free pickled stuff at the side bar! The place has some seating, but even if you take to-go, the tacos will still taste delicious.
10/10 Mulitas - we ordered the lengua & beef cheek. Very tender and not oily 5/10 Burrito Plate - we ordered al pastor, which was chopped into tiny pieces, just not to our liking. Rice, beans, salad average, as expected. 8/10 Sopes - our friend ordered this and liked the portion size (order per sopes)
This place is a hidden gem! We ordered steak tacos and small intestine tacos (aka Tacos Asada and Taco de tripas)! Both were deliciously, crunchy, juicy, and full of flavor! Very clean, cut meats! Didn’t find any fat chunks or anything. Honestly, I truly enjoyed every bite. Also ate Molitas Asada.. the inside was full of meat, cheese, avocado, just delicious! Prices were awesome! Love the small bar, full of hot sauces, red and green. Limes and fresh onions, etc. Place was super clean, short wait for the food, and all together great service and experience. We will be back. Added pics of Mulitas de tripa … yum..!!
